Startup Elevate has a new approach to how employers and employees access, manage and experience consumer-directed benefits. these benefits are most commonly the out-of-pocket healthcare expenses an employee has, like health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, commuting expenses, tuition reimbursement or even reimbursement of expenses for adoption or fertility treatments. Elevate platform enables employees to view, plan and manage their pre-tax benefits from one web and mobile dashboard. There is also one contactless card for all of the benefits, and claims are processed instantly with reimbursement taking place within minutes. On the employer side, they can customize their offering with standard templates for many of the common plans and then configure the plan for their particular market or plan.
Anheuser-Busch Light will host an outdoor co-working space called TreeWork in the woodlands of Northern Colorado. TreeWork features a “sleek and well-ventilated” office space, Wi-Fi, Busch Light happy hours, grilling, campfires and the opportunity to camp outside. TreeWork comes as many workers still have not returned to the office as the delta variant continues to upend plans for a full return to pre-pandemic activities. Busch Light’s latest experiential activation is a lighthearted way for the brand to engage with consumers who are still working remotely by providing a shared space that is truly remote: an undisclosed location in the Northern Colorado woodlands. Along with productivity, Busch seeks to help relieve some of the stress and fatigue that is associated with the pandemic, which has disrupted daily life for more than 18 months.
BBVA has rolled out an app for employees to book a desk at the office as it prepares for a new post-pandemic working model. BBVA’s return to work policy is focused around a hybrid system, in which employees spend 60% of their time in the office and 40% at home. This is aligned with a new hot desking system, in which staff are assigned a locker to store their belongings and an app to book a desk. Using the app, staff can book a desk – and parking space – at the office, selecting from a pool of available workstations that are released on the 22nd of each month. Users can book from a menu of options, including a table for individual work, a meeting room or a collaborative space.
